3. Starting your journey and your tools

Now the real deal begins and you’ve gone through all the initial phases of your GPAT journey. Now I’m going to talk to you about what resources and tools you will require at some point during your preparation ahead.

Firstly, you will need all of your handwritten notes and Xeroxes/print outs of all study material you have collected from your 1st semester (I’m assuming that you have maintained all of those and not given them away yet). If you haven’t organized your notes semester/year wise, then I would suggest you to do that because that will make your work easier when you will need them during studying. These notes are going to come in handy when you revise the topics that were taught in the previous years. When we study a subject in that semester we make notes, we mark words, we draw easy diagrams, we write simple explanations to make our task easier when it comes to studying for the semester exam and this is going to make your process of revision for GPAT easier because you have these notes handy.

Next you will need to dig and find all the ppts, word documents, scans, soft copies you have that you collected from your teachers when you were in that semester and hopefully saved somewhere in your phone or computer. This is going to come in handy too because when our teachers make their ppts they make the best of all resources available to them and then convert those into a simpler language and words that we as students can grasp easily. This will really help you if you are struggling to understand a topic from references and need a simpler explanation.
If you don’t have them with you then that is okay too because you can always approach your teachers and ask them to share their presentations and study materials with you. You can ask your friends for any material that they have and sharing it among yourselves will benefit everyone. Also you will have to keep these organized by semester and by subject in individual folders so that you can quickly access these whenever you need to.

These are pretty much the important resources that you will have to find and keep organized so that your process of studying becomes easier and faster.

If you do not have all of these things then that is okay too!
