Introduction

Hey there,

I'm Taher Vasowala, a Final Year B. Pharmacy student at Smt. Kashibai Navale College of Pharmacy, Pune, Maharashtra.

I gave the GPAT 2020 exam and secured an AIR 52 with a score of 256/500.

I had been preparing for the GPAT exam since February 2019 and this blog is an attempt to give as much information about the books, resources, tips and a bunch of tricks that helped me study through the course of one year. I hope that this will be beneficial to you in your preparation for GPAT in the coming year.

I believe that we should always share our journeys and pass on the best of what we have gained so that it helps others and makes their process simpler.

I also give credit where credit is due and i would largely thank Mohan sir from APEX (Academy of Pharmaceutical Excellence), Pune where i went for GPAT classes from Feb '19 until the last few weeks before the GPAT exam. Sir has always been a big motivation when it comes to seeing what it means to be patient, persistent and a hardworking person. He has taught and simplified so many topics and subjects in class and he has always shared the best of resources and tricks to make sure that preparing for this exam was an easy process. He is the kind of teacher that gives equal faith and motivation to each and every student so that they believe that they can achieve a good score and be successful. This journey would not have been easy without his support.

Mohan Sir

My teachers at college have been with me and helped me out since the 1st semester. They have helped build the strong base and foundation for each and every subject that had ultimately made studying a simple process for me. They have always been helpful when it came to figuring out doubts and giving suggestions on what the easier textbooks are that I should refer. My teachers have always had faith in me and supported me and that has made me a person who is this confident today.

Lastly my friends have been a constant source of motivation and support. There is a quote that says that you are as successful as the closest group of friends you have around you and I was lucky to have the best bunch around me. They have pushed me and helped me when I was doubtful of myself and I am grateful to them for being there for me.

It’s been a long introduction and I apologize for that because I also believe that you are never a single character in the journey of life.

Your success is the result of the help you receive from each person in your life so always be humble, acknowledge that and give due credit!
